Equipment

At the heart of my bag is a Zaxcom Nomad 12 Channel recorder that allows me to record up to 12 discrete channels of sound with the best sounding preamps in its class. Paired with my Schoeps or Sanken mics on the boom, voices on the recording sound exactly like your ears remember!

New as of 2019 are a set of Zaxcom ZMT wireless sets. The Zaxcom all digital recording allows for crisp wireless transmission and the built-in recorder functionality means I will never miss a line from radio interference. My rig is powered by the Audioroot eSmart Distribution System with Inspiron Energy Rechargeable Batteries to keep my system running throughout the day.

Below it the primary gear I keep on hand. I’m always buying new gear and upgrading various bits so check back here every now and then. Not sure what you need? Contact me and I’ll build the best package for your project.
